A Texan trying to make it in the entertainment industry is a funny, but true reality.

It's a reality I'm currently living.

​

My name is Brittney Cech, and I've been trying to "make it" in "the industry", armed with only my B.S. degree in Film-Television-Digital Media from Texas Christian University, and my Texan upbringing. Both of which, have taught me the importance of knowledge and perseverance in every task.

 

These outlooks, though fundamental in nature, have contributed to my successes as a student film producer, intern, and team manager. Through each job, there have been rough patches and self doubt, but having an outlook that every opportunity is a learning opportunity forces my current perspective, of taking tasks in stride. Allowing me to switch tacks towards the intended result. As is the Texan way.

Being a Texan, means that I have pride in both the state and its inhabitants. This pride can only be defined by actions, and it's these actions that I take with me to every job. Because, I believe that actions speak louder than words, and that these actions, filled with pride, are going to be forever lasting.
